CLARION-A hard push late in the second half was not enough for the Clarion Woman's soccer team, as they fall to Millersville 1-0 on Friday afternoon at Clarion's Memorial Stadium.
Freshman,
Casey Harsch, led Clarion's offense by posting four shots, followed closely by
Alyssa Liebdzinski who put up three shots.
"We put a lot of effort in this game," said Head Coach, Rob Eaton. "Millersville also played well. If we put the effort from this game into another, who knows, we could have scored three goals."
Lauren Saussol made eight saves on the day for Clarion, while facing twelve Millersville shots.
Clarion's next home game is Saturday, September 24, when they face highly ranked team in the nation West Chester University at 2p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
