CLARION-The Clarion University Woman's soccer team lost to No. 12 ranked West Chester University 4-0 Saturday afternoon at Clarion's Memorial Stadium.
The first half ended in a 0-0 tie after a battle between the teams. Midfielder
Jordan Bahr played a solid first half both offensively and defensively, by putting a shot on goal and making a few key steals inside Clarion territory.
"Watching the first half, you would have never known we were playing the number twelfth ranked team in the country," said Head Coach Rob Eaton. "However, the second half, well, if you play twenty bad minutes of a game, even a bad team can beat you."
Clarion's offense managed eight shots on the day.
Casey Harsch and
Autumn Rosenberg both put two shots on net.
Clarion's next game is Saturday, October 1, where they will battle against PSAC opponent IUP at Clarion's Memorial Stadium starting at noon.
