GOLDEN EAGLES FALL TO WEST CHESTER 4-1

Autumn Rosenberg scored in the 74th minute

Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Clarion's Autumn Rosenberg scored, but the Golden Eagles lost to West Chester 4-1.
 
“We made two silly mistakes in the first 15 minutes…” Clarion head coach Rob Eaton said. “Too many mistakes early and dug ourselves a hole we couldn't get out of…Autumn had a nice goal.”
 
West Chester (13-2-1 overall, 10-2-1 PSAC) took an early 1-0 lead when Melissa McKeary scored off a Marie D'Angelo assist.  The Golden Rams extended their lead to two when Jen Hutchinson scored in the 43rd minute off a Dana Hunt assist.
 
After the half, West Chester's Hutchinson scored again in the 53rd minute, and Hunt scored a goal of her own two minutes later to put them up 4-0.
 
Clarion's (2-9-5, 2-8-3) Autumn Rosenberg scored in the 74th minute off a Liz Ventura assist bringing the Golden Eagles within three.
 
Laura Saussol had five saves for the Golden Eagles.
 
Clarion will wrap up their season this Saturday at Indiana University at 2 p.m.
