In Game One, Clarion erased an early 5-0 deficit with a seven-run second and then took the lead for good, 8-7, with a run in the third before adding single runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh. Lock Haven scored twice in the second and twice in the fifth and left the tying run on second in the seventh.

In Game Two, Clarion scored twice in the fourth and twice in the fifth and took a 4-0 lead into the seventh before Lock Haven rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.

In the eighth, Clarion answered right back when Mark White, pinch running for Morgan who had singled leading off the inning, scored the go-ahead run when Weitzel reached on an error.

But Lock Haven answered back with a run in the bottom of the eighth forcing continuation of the game.

In the ninth, Kemmer led off with a double and Kasey Clinton single him to third. Matt Rossi then belted a two-run double before scoring later in the inning when Bill Hasson reached on an error.
