BILL HASSON HONORED FRIDAY IN PRE-GAME CEREMONIES FOR MILITARY SERVICE

Bill Hasson Served Nearly 10 Years of Military Service - 2 Tours In Iraq -

CLARION ATHLETICS HONORS BASEBALL'S BILL HASSON SERVICE TO AMERICA – FRIDAY APRIL 13
 
                Friday – Clarion Baseball player William J. Hasson will be recognized in pre-game ceremonies, starting at 12:45pm (prior to the start of the IUP DH) at Memorial Stadium for his service to America.
 
                Hasson, who served with the Army Reserves 298th Transportation Company  (Franklin), the 630th Transportation Company (Washington, Pa.) and the National Guard Infantry – B-Company 1/112 (Cambridge Springs, Pa.), is a junior on the Clarion University Baseball team, majoring in Biology.
 
                Bill was deployed and served in Iraq from March 2004 – March 2005; victims of Hurricane Katrina Sept. – October 2005; and again in Iraq from January 2009 – September 2009.
 
                Please come out and help us honor his service to his community, Clarion University and America on Friday as the Clarion University Athletic Department proclaims Friday, April 13, as Willliam j. Hasson Day at Memorial Stadium. Ceremonies are set to begin at 12:45 p.m.
