CLARION NETTERS LOSE 7-2 TO BLOOMSBURG

                (Shippensburg, Pa.): Clarion's Megan Bettwy (Jr. Hollidaysburg) was a double winner today, winning both her singles and doubles match, but the Golden Eagles were defeated by Bloomsburg 7-2 in a PSAC crossover match hosted at Shippensburg University Friday afternoon.

            In singles play Lauren Zezenski (Jr. Bernville) lost her match 6-0, 6-3 to Maddie Graziani at #1; Bettwy defeated Caitlin Flynn 4-6, 6-2, 10-5 at #2; Madeline Robinson (Jr. Amherst, N.Y.) lost 6-3, 6-1 to DErin Ritenauer at #3; Jessica Kennelly (So. Aliquippa/Central Valley) lost 6-2, 6-4 to Alyssa Liples at #4; Allison Probst (Fr. Lock Haven) lost 6-0, 6-1 to Lindsey Tennis at #5 and Jazmin Harris (Fr. Monaca/Central Valley) lost 6-0, 6-1 to Nicole Slagle at #6.

            In doubles play Zezenski and Robinson lost their match to Graziani and Liples 8-4 at #1; Bettwy and Kennelly defeated Reitenauer and Flynn 8-3 at #2 and Probst and Harris lost 8-0 to Greenholt and Slagle at #3.

            Clarion's record drops to 2-3 on the season and will play East Stroudsburg at Shippensburg at 9am on Saturday morning.
