                (Berea, Oh.): Clarion got singles wins from Megan Bettwy, Maria Snyder and Jessica Dgien, and swept all three doubles matches to defeat Baldwin-Wallace 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.
 
                Held at the Pop Collins Tennis courts, Clarion upped its season record to 5-0, while Baldwin Wallace dropped to 0-2.
 
                Head coach Joshua Thorpe saw Clarion's doubles teams put the Eagle sin front 3-0 when Bettwy and Madeline Robinson defeated Kelsey Blatt and Mackenzie Donaldson 8-7 (7-5) at #1; Lauren Zezenski and Maria Snyder toppled Claire Watts and Mackenzi Baker 8-3 at #2 and Jessica Kennelly and Kaitlyn Mulligan defeated Shannon Finkenthal and Hayley Peterson 8-3 at #3.
 
                In singles Lauren Zezenski lost a tough match to Kelsey Blatt by scoes of 5-7; 7-6 and 12-10 at #1; Megan Bettwy defeated Claire Watts 6-0, 6-2 at #2; Madeline Robinson withdrew during her match against Shanon Finkenthal at #3; Maria Snyder stepped up with a big 6-2, 6-1 win over Hayley Peterson at #4; Jessica Kenelly lost a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Anastasia Koval at #5 and Jessica Dgien won a 6-4, 6-1 match against Kayla Eeg at #6.
 
                Clarion, with their 5-0 record, is off until Friday, October 3 when Clarion will host Kutztown at Campbell courts starting at Noon.
