CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion women's tennis team hosted its first conference match of the spring season on Saturday, falling 7-2 to Seton Hill in Clarion. With the loss the Golden Eagles fall to 2-5 in dual match play and 0-1 against PSAC opponents.

Vinisha Reddy continued her strong run with her third straight singles win, defeating Alisha Toretti in the No. 5 singles match in straight sets. She won the first set by a 6-3 score and recorded an identical result in the second, beating Toretti 6-3 for the straight-sets victory.Â

Michelle Petrilla was the other Golden Eagle to score a win in singles action, controlling action against Kiana Murdock for the victory at No. 6 singles. She too recorded a 6-3 win in the first set of their match and completely dominated in the second, winning 6-0 to take the win. She was also part of the very competitive No. 3 doubles match, teaming with
Allison Probst to push the Griffins to a 9-7 score before losing.
