INDIANA, Pa. – The Clarion women's tennis team competed in their second Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match of the season, falling 9-0 to the IUP Crimson Hawks in Indiana on Tuesday. With the loss the Golden Eagles are now 2-6 overall and 0-2 in PSAC play.
The Golden Eagles faced a tough test in the Crimson Hawks, with IUP taking all nine matches on the courts.
Sarah Robbins had a solid showing against Luise von Agris in the No. 2 singles match, holding close with her opponent before falling 6-2, 6-2.
Clarion will be back in action with a non-conference match on Friday, April 1 when they take on Baldwin-Wallace in Berea, Ohio. Their next conference match will be on Saturday, April 2 when they face California.
