CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion women's tennis team won four of the six singles matches on the court on the final day of the season, but the difference came in doubles action as the Golden Eagles fell by a 5-4 score to Westminster at Campbell Courts on Sunday. Clarion finishes the season with a 4-11 record in dual matches with the loss.
The Golden Eagles were dominant in singles action against the Titans, but it was Westminster's sweep of doubles action that made up the difference in the match. Clarion enjoyed three straight-sets victories in singles play as well as a three-set win from
Sarah Robbins at No. 3 singles.
Alivia Arnold won her sixth No. 1 singles match of the year with a straight-sets victory over Gabby Eaborn, taking her down 6-4, 6-1 for the victory. Vinisha Reddy finished the season with a team-best 7-3 record in singles after beating Patricia Pivaronas 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 5 spot and
