GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Clarion tennis team saw its modest two-match win streak snapped on Saturday, falling by a 9-0 score to Seton Hill at the Greensburg Racquet Club. The Golden Eagles (5-5) will host IUP at Campbell Courts on Tuesday.

Alivia Arnold had the best day of the Golden Eagles, forcing Paula Carvajalino to really battle to earn a win at No. 1 singles. Arnold ultimately fell to Carvajalino by a 6-2, 6-3 score. The doubles team of Arnold and
Maria Snyder fell in No. 1 doubles, dropping an 8-2 decision to Carvajalino and Madison DeBone.Â

Katie Benson was also competitive on Saturday, taking on Ana Salazar in the No. 6 singles match. Benson battled but Salazar ultimately won by a 6-2, 6-2 score.
