CLARION, Pa. - The Clarion men's swimming team finished the two day, Clarion Fall Invite Saturday afternoon, ending the afternoon with huge success.
The Golden Eagles will return to the pool on October 30, when they host Allegheny College at noon.Â

Bobby Shotts and
Colton Hollon, got the scoring started for Clarion, taking first, second and third in the 1650 Free with times of 17:28.40, 18:36.35 and 19:09.13 respectively.Â
The Golden Eagle "A" team in the 200 Medley Relay continued the success in the next event, placing first with a final mark of 1:37.50.
Returning PSAC Champion
Connor Cary and
David Bocci, battled it out in the 200 Free, as Bocci came out on top with the first place finish with a final time of 1:45.10, while Cary finished second in the event.Â
Bocci finished in the top two just one event late, finished the 100 Back with a final mark of 53.70, while
Nick Soares picked up his first career victory taking first place with a final time of 53.40.
In the 100 Breaststroke,
Paul Flowers took second, racing to a 1:03.52 finish.
Bocci, Cary and Soares went one, two, three in the 200 Fly as Bocci paced the field touching the wall with a final time of 1:55.22.
Cary made his return to the top of the podium for the first time this season in the 100 Free, pacing the field with a final time of 48.66, while also grabbing a win in the 100 Fly with a final mark of 51.58.
Soares ended his night with another win in the 200 Back, pacing teammates
Mason Irwin and
Brenek Strawn as Clarion took the top three spots of the event with a top time of 1:58.43.
The Golden Eagles rounded out the night taking the top six spots in the 500 Free as Bocci paced the unit with a final time of 4:55.58.
After a hard fought race, Irwin took the victory in the 200 IM with a final time of 2:04.29, while the "A" and "B" teams for Clarion took first and second place in the 400 Free Relay.Â
