MEADVILLE, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles tennis team went on the road for a non-conference match on Thursday afternoon, falling by a 7-0 score to Allegheny at Robertson Tennis Center.

Action started with the doubles session, with the Gators taking all three matches to open the team dual with a 1-0 lead. Gabrielle Bassette and Giada Palmieri won the No. 1 doubles match over
Polia Vladeva and
Emily McMahan, taking the match by a 6-1 score, while
Abby Rodgers and
Taelyn Thomas dropped the No. 2 doubles match to Emiliia Grydnieva and Adriana Navarro by the same score.

In the singles session, Allegheny took all six matches, clinching the 7-0 win. The most competitive match of the day came in the No. 6 singles match, where
Eliza Harrington took four games from Madison McDunn. McDunn won the match in straight sets by a 6-2, 6-2 score. Anabel Bachman topped
Alana Jackson by a score of 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 5 match, while McMahan, Thomas and Rodgers all took games from their respective opponents as well.
