MYRTLE BEACH, SC. – The Clarion University women's track and field team closed out their spring trip to Myrtle Beach, as they competed at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
Day two highlights include
Letizia Collini, who ran a 2:23.42 in the women's 800 meter run, narrowly missing a PSAC qualifying time. Also just missing out was
Courtney Young, who ran a 26.30 in the 200 meter, a new personal best.
Sophomore
Danielle Gettemy was 12
th in the high jump with 4.84 meters.
In the lone women's event on Thursday evening, Clarion junior Kaycee Bobnar finished 8
th in the 10,000 meter run, with a time of 43:14.02.
The Golden Eagles will compete next Saturday (Mar 24) at California University Pa.
